Chamonix Mont Blanc France is a one of a kind destination with the impressive Mont Blanc and majestic glaciers. Each of us like to go telemarking or even wandering around. I sometimes travel from Chicago and stay at a Chamonix guesthouse during my stay.
My friends and I previously visited The Cosmopolitan however it rarely lived up to its marketing: The Cosmopolitan Hotel is a deluxe property situated in downtown Toronto within walking distance of Union Station and the Hockey Hall of Fame, approximately 15 miles from Lester P. The hotel’s elevators are equipped with a controlled-access card system. Concierges, called ‘Lifestyle Managers’, are available 24 hours. Two meeting rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs and wireless Internet access (surcharge). A business center (opening soon) will be available 24 hours. Guests may also enjoy the onsite spa service at Shizen Spa offering 3 private treatment rooms and acupuncture treatments. Opening soon, an adjacent solarium with a 12-person spa tub.Guest rooms feature 32 inch flat-screen LCD TVs, CD players, in-room movies, full kitchen facilities with refrigerators, mini-bars, and microwaves, in-room safes, windows and balconies that open, hardwood flooring, bathrobes, desks, irons, ironing boards, AM/FM alarm clock radios, A/C, telephones, voicemail, coffeemakers, hairdryers, air purifiers, relaxation CDs, and Serenity fountains with energy stone.
In comparison in Chamonix village the guesthouse is nearly always fine. Likewise dining in our groups preferred restaurant, Mc Divetos Restaurant & Bar, enjoying apple-barbecue spareribs is a real treat. Chamonix is a big enough village to make sure that there is lots for the tourist to do. Including a beauty salon and a range of terraced caf©s, Chamonix offers a choice of climbing, French alpine charm and shopping which few resorts can beat.
